I see that the bookies don't rate England's chances that highly. Australia are now 8/13 to win the series with England at 3/1 with most bookmakers. For the next test Austraila are 6/4 with England either 5/2 or 11/4 and the draw at 6/4.

That's coming from a man who has yet to decide if he'll represent Ireland or GB at the 2016 Olympics.

I know sledging is part of the game and everything, but I think players now have to be careful not let anything come out that shouldn't be picked up within earshot of the microphone in future!!

It's my guess that he'll probably represent the team that offers him
the best opportunities for a medal!!

It was fascinating and gave me an understanding into this horrible condition and the fact it is much more than just "manning up" as some believe. I also wish Trott well on his path to recovery. Given the high pressure environment of the test arena these days I doubt he will be the last player to suffer from this.

At the same time, I now wonder just how many players the ECB are 'closely monitoring?' and I would totally agree he certainly wouldn't be the last player to suffer. also do we know of any high profile cases from other test playing nations that we've not known about before?

apparently the bad blood between clarke and anderson goes back to when both were playing in the lancashire league and apparently was an altercation in a pub Wink

Gary Ballance gave a nudge to the selectors, top scoring with 55 in England's innings of 212-7 dec in the 2 Day match against CA Chairman's XI in Alice Springs.

The quality of the bowling looked very ordinary from what I saw on SSN. Still that is not Balance's fault and great he got some runs.
