if your calling tashie a liar, you may as well be calling all the babeshow babes liars and behaving underhandedly. A babeshow babe's main job is to bring in the calls and she will say whatever on the microphone that will bring in the most calls as possible even if what she is saying is barely true or not true at all

when I hear a babeshow babe on the mic, I think pretty much all of what she is saying isn't really true and she is just saying it to bring in the calls

I'm not sure on this but maybe this sort of thing could possibly be classed as false advertising by Ofcom and in breach of their rules .
As we know the channels are classed as advertisements/Teleshopping services, what the girls say on screen to encourage callers to ring in and spend money is advertising the product, ie what they advertise they will do when people pay for the product (the phone call), once people have paid to call after hearing what the girl advertises she will do and then she doesn't do as advertised on screen then people are being ripped off and paying for a product that isn't as advertised .

STD 66 need to make sure that girls using false adversing methods to get people to spend their hard earned cash doest breach the advertisement code of conduct and back fire on them if Ofcom get wind of this sort of thing .

Do Ofcom even have any rules on advertising? Surely it's a matter for Pay Phone Plus?

It's lying of course if this is what happened. But did the NEXT CALLER actually ask her to remove it ???

That is a good question, I was about to ask the same thing. I'm not condoning dishonest statements, but surely only the next caller can be the judge of whether there was dishonesty or not.

Yes it looks like it or more accurately they make judgements according to the bcap code from what i can make out .
http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/binaries/broadcast/guidance/bcap-guidance.pdf Ofcom say in section 8 in the link i have given that babe channel broadcasters should take note that they should not materially mislead viewers and should take note of the relevant rules of section 3 in the bcap code concerning misleading advertising .

What about claiming she is Brazilian :-/ also did any1 else hear her say on the mic that she has just made a Brazilian porn film, I'm not sure how many of you have called her on whichever channel? but I have a couple of times and won't be giving her any more chances, if any 1 loves herself any more than she does I'll be supprised she is well suited to the mirror set so she can see herself from all angles !!

Ofcom are quick enough to try and protect our children from the evils of sex.... Perhaps they should be as quick to protect consumers from false advertising!Huh my 2 cents

RE: Tashie Jackson - Chat & Discussion - Rammyrascal - 24-02-2014 19:25

last thing im going to say on this for now is that im sure s66 do keep an eye on what the babes say on the mic so that it conforms to the rules regarding what babes can say on the mic.

if Ofcom do think what s66 babes (not just tashie) have said on the mic breaks the rules, then im sure Ofcom will investigate and get s66 to get the babes to conform to the rules
