After Monday’s VAR-fuelled controversy in Group B we move on to Group C, which I think has been the hardest fought group. Australia are fearing that France and Denmark will play out a draw today, allowing them both to qualify and meaning that an Australian win against Peru becomes immaterial.

I think it's been a great World Cup so far, but the France-Denmark match was truly atrocious. Not because it was the first goalless draw in 38 matches, but because neither side appeared to be trying.
France top Group C with Denmark 2nd. They play the qualifiers from Group D which finishes this evening. Argentina-Nigeria looks an intriguing match and Argentina will be knocked out if they don't win.

No such appeal is possible. No country at the World Cup can appeal against a card issued to an opposing player.
Besides there doesn't appear to be any "clear and obvious" evidence that would justify overturning the match referee's decision.

The S*n ran a small piece that claimed FIFA would be looking at our game on Thursday and they would fine England IF they didn't attempt to win the game and the group.
If the France - Denmark game was as bad as people have said it was and neither side appeared to be trying therefore, will FIFA take any action?
