I think Babevidz got too ambitious. It started out as a replacement for Babevideo which would have been about 16,000 videos, but rapidly expanded to a whopping 80,000 videos with even more in the pipeline. So it ended up being a worthy but inevitably massive project (which would have been hard for anyone to sustain).
