Broncos 10 - 7 Raiders
Unfortunately they don't always schedule the best games on TNF & this was the case last night, a very poor game with a little over 400 yards combined total offense from the two teams & only 10 first downs each.
The Raiders scored first with a 4 yard Jenty TD run, & had the better of field position on many drives thanks to a good punting game of which the Raiders had 8 to the Broncos 7. The Raiders had a punt blocked & also had a number of key passes dropped when in good positions to score.
Both teams missed a field goal a piece, which the game full of mistakes as both side had 11 penalties each.
Both teams had opportunities the put the game away, the Broncos even had to overcome 2 interceptions, with Geno Smith accounting for one, which makes it 12 through week 10 & the most in the league.
The quality of the Broncos defence ensured their victory with six sacks on the night for a team that leads the league in that stat.

A few reasonably close games across the early matches today so far.
The Ravens recovery continues after a 27-19 win in Minnesota. New England Patriots with a 28-23 victory in Tampa Bay. New York Jets overcame Cleveland Browns 27-20 while there was a shock win for the Miami Dolphins 30-16.
New Orleans Saints prevailed 17-7 over Carolina Panthers.

Packers 7 - 10 Eagles
A defensive battle with a scoreless 1st half, as is often the case the action heated up in the 4th quarter. Other than a long drive by the Eagles in the first quarter which resulted in a turnover when Hurts fumbled, both team struggled to move the ball with numerous 3 & outs. The scoring drought was finally broken when Elliot kicked from 39 yards in the 3rd quarter, the Eagles extended their lead with a 36 yard TD catch by Smith after a 41 yard reception on 3rd & 7 by Barkley.
The Packers replied with a 6 yard Jacobs TD run, but on their next drive Jacobs fumbled on their own 44 yard line & the Eagles recovered the ball. After turning the ball over on 4th down instead of attempting a long field goal, the Packer still had one last chance, but McManus failed on what would've been a Packers record longest kick.

Giants have fired head coach Brian Daboll after going o-4 in all the losse they held a 10 point or more lead. His overall record in his 4 seasons is 20-40-1.
Daboll was named Coach of the Year in 2022, after the Giants made the Playoffs for the first time in 6 years.
