Having lost out on League 1 title on last day Raith have it all to do as they lost 2-0 to Alloa in 1st leg of Championship playoff and finished with 10 men after Ian Davison was sent off for second yellow in 80 mins.

Dumbarton got a late winner from Craig Barr against Arbroath who was playing having appealed his sending off against Dunfermline final score 2-1. Peterhead hold a 1-0 lead over Stirling Albion and Stenhousemuir drew 1-1 with Queens Park in the League 1 playoffs.

Dunfermline have appealed Lee Ashcroft's sending off so he is free to play tonight(Friday) in Premiership Q/Final second leg. If Dunfermline get through he will be free to play on Monday v Livingston as hearing isn't until Thursday of next week

Dundee United beat Dunfermline 2-1 to progress to Semi Final stage.

Dunfermline dominated first half should have been at least 2 or 3-0 up but only had 1 goal through McManus to show for totally dominating first half. United scored their goals with their first 2 shots on target and then held on.

Ah, bad luck.

But it could be worse, you could have Steven Gerrard as your manager Tongue

The last former Liverpool captain to manage rangers did ok. Four league titles and three league cups.

Dundee 1 Hamilton 0 Sad Think Partick and Ross drew last night, so that should help. If we get a result against St Johnstone on Tuesday, we should be OK.

Yeah right Sad

Hamilton 1 St Johnstone 2 Sad

BUT Partick and Ross County also lost, so with rather better goal difference, it looks like Hamilton are safe for 10th place Smile

Hibs lost to Hearts, and Lennon is saying that since Hibs will finish 4th, he's gonna consider moving on. Given I don't recall at what point in the season that anyone took them seriously as displacing the top 3, it seems a pretty feeble attempt to justify saying he's had enough.

RE: Scottish Football - Doddle - 12-05-2018 20:50

Motherwell 3 Hamilton 0
But we finish 10th, so maybe I should stop slagging Canning as he seems to be keeping them in the top flight somehow. Partick v Livingston (come on you Livingston!)

Usual play-off crap elsewhere though, with Peterhead beaten by Stenhousemuir despite finishing 22 points above them!

Worse was Cowdenbeath beating Cove Rangers, who somehow ended up with 8 men, to go with their totally wasted season.

^ I think Partick will beat Livingston. Ironically the only team to be promoted to Premiership under the current play off system are Hamilton who beat Hibs

Raith Rovers also lost to a side in the playoffs that finished 15 points behind them

I'm been told that there may be automatic relegation from League 2 for bottom club from next year.
The 3 Cove players were all sent off in injury time at the end.
