RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 27-11-2018 20:38 Ratings are hardly plummeting, it's now getting better ratings than it has for years. I did not like this Witchy episode, I've had to put up with Pendle Hill stories in this area for 30 bloody years and this crap did them no justice at all. You may be right concerning ratings, all I was trying to point out was that there are sources online suggesting a sharp decline ratings wise since episode 1. RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 28-11-2018 08:12 Yes, but that's how news works! Lies, damn lies & statistics! RE: Dr Who - The Silent Majority - 28-11-2018 08:27 I thought the last couple of episodes were ok. The Kerblam androids were suitably creepy and Doddle's alien friends from Pendle Hill were genuine baddies, so the basic ingredients were there. Sadly 'ok' looks like being the best of the series when it should really be the baseline. RE: Dr Who - lovebabes56 - 28-11-2018 09:05 I may be thinking a bit too far ahead, but when it comes to the next regen will they have to use another female doctor to even things out or will they go back to a male character? or will they make a bold move and resurrect a former companion into the role? RE: Dr Who - ShandyHand - 28-11-2018 10:35 ^ That would actually make a decent plot point if they could work it as season arc or something. In other words there was a reason the doc or some other entity specifically manipulated the regen to take the form of a former companion. Interesting notion if something could be found to make it worthwhile. RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 28-11-2018 13:03 It's a bloody stupid idea. Do you really want Matthew Waterhouse or Sophie Aldred back? Anyway, we all know the next Doctor will be Ainsley "I was in Red Dwarf, what am I like?" Harriot. Woke up on the wrong side of your Tardis blankets doodle?! I was thinking more Billie Piper or Lella Ward. RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 28-11-2018 13:21 I don't doubt you were It's still bloody stupid RE: Dr Who - The Silent Majority - 28-11-2018 14:09 (28-11-2018 13:17 )ShandyHand Wrote: I was thinking more Billie Piper or Lella Ward. Can anyone play? I vote Karen Gillan |
