Celtic won their 2nd leg 3-0, making 6-0 altogether.
Whilst at the other end of the scale, Hearts won 2-1 at Cove Rangers.

Rangers second leg match with Shkupi from Tuesday is on Freesports at 9pm tonight(Thursday)

Seems Hearts fielded a ineligible player against Cove Rangers in Betfred Cup and will find out on Monday what the sanction for this will be.
Cowdenbeath v Cove Rangers will be interesting clash after their playoff clash at end of last season where Cove though their keeper was fouled in led up to Cowdenbeath winner. Cove player put in shocking tackle that led to him being sent off and a massive brawl that saw 2 other Cove players being sent off meaning they ended with 8 men. Both Managers were also banned from touchline for their part in the brawl

So following defeat on penalties to Arbroath, Dundee United lose again on penalties to Alloa. Even only five years ago such humiliations would have been unthinkable. It's very sad to see for someone who was brought up on the McLean era when the likes of Sturrock and Narey were household names even in England. How did it come to this?
