Andy Murray into the final of the Erste Bank Open in Austria where he will play David Ferrer.
Murray is trying to accumulate enough ranking points to qualify for the ATP Tour Finals at the O2 Arena in a few weeks time.

Andy Murray up to a qualifying slot for the ATP Tour Finals with a few weeks left until the event in London.
This after a 5-7 6-2 7-5 win over David Ferrer to win the tournament in Austria.
He now is due to play two more events in an attempt to seal a place at the season ending championships.

Andy Murray inching closer to an appearance at the ATP Tour Finals in London.
Into the quarter finals of the Valencia 500 tournament where he will play South African Kevin Anderson for a last four spot.
With just another indoor event in Paris to come he will be looking to go as far as he can in Spain to take some pressure off as the race to reach London reaches boiling point.

His chances of reaching London have received a further boost with the news that Rafael Nadal's season is now at an end due to appendix issues.
Semi final against David Ferrer today, the third tournament in a row these two will have played each other.

I'd say that to win this tournament would give him enough points advantage to seal a place in the finals. A shame Nadal had to withdraw, but certainly it would be reasonable to expect that he would be fully fit for Melbourne in January. and given the last two games between Ferrer and Murray another tight one has to be expected.

Andy Murray into the final after beating David Ferrer in straight sets 6-4 7-5.
Edit: And in that final he will face Tommy Robredo who defeated Jeremy Chardy 7-6 (9-7) 7-6 (7-2).
