Haye is retired though, so what can he be banned from?

He wanted to come out of retirement and fight the other Klitschko, for me it would all end in tears and after what happened on saturday night it wouldnt disappoint me.

My 2 pence worth... For me personally I think everyone has been harsh on Dereck Chisora.

Okay the pre match slap wasn't the best idea, but it was gamesmanship. He was trying to rattle Klitschko, not smart but still we've seen and heard worse in the weigh ins. Remember Tyson ?

Before the fight he sprayed water in Wladimir face, again not clever but the Klitschko's do have previous in going into the changing rooms and questioning the wraps and gloves of opponents. Whys Wladimir got to get involved anyway, it isn't his fight!!

Then Haye was a bitch. Before the fight he put down Chisora, then after the fight called him predictable! Right, unlike you David Gay!

Chisora fought with passion and can hold his head high after that fight. He gave a better account of himself then the 'Gaymaker,' and didn't come up with excuses and admitted defeat to a better more experienced boxer. He made up for the bad moves before hand.

Haye then turns up at the post match interview. He isn't even a boxer any more. He's a HAS BEEN! He hung up his gloves so had no right turning up. He ran his mouth and Chisora reacted. Haye seemingly glassed him in some capacity.

Haye is the disgrace and shouldn't get his license back. Chisora hasn't done himself any favours but he's always been a bit of a wild one. As for his comments about shooting David Haye, I'd even load the gun for him. The bloke is a washed up has been. He thinks he is something special, he hung up his gloves, go back to modelling you self righteous prick. You ain't a boxer no more. Stick your ego somewhere else. You'll probably end up on "dancing on ice" before long.

Haye had a right to be at the press conference as he had media accreditation for the fight (was working for ESPN).

it was boxnation not espn, he was paid to be there by chisora's own promoter

RE: Boxing - rocksaviour - 19-02-2012 19:35

After the nice suprise of being able to watch the fight on TV last night due to the Boxnation issue, I watched the fight (which by the way was alright, even though today its had little to no coverage). This morning though I was half shocked and then annoyed to hear of the post-match actions between the two men representing this country, boxing and sport in general.

I'm fairly sure though that Warren would of known that Haye would turn up at the press conference beforehand since he was out in Germany covering the fight for the adforementioned TV channel anyway.

RE: Boxing - Money_Shot - 19-02-2012 19:42

Yes, Haye was presenting with Box Nation, and was acting like a bitch, putting Chisora down when I think he actually boxed better then Haye.
He only really talked about himself and wanting to fight the Klitcvhko's . The thing with Haye is his ego is so big he can't stand being out the limelight.

cosmonaut - If a Jamie Redknapp went into a post match interview and started mouthing off would that be okay, because he was there with $ky ? Of course not. Haye had no right what so ever to gatecrash the post match interview like he did. He is the disgrace yet as usual he comes out of it okay!

RE: Boxing - rocksaviour - 19-02-2012 19:46

Your right about Haye, during the buildup I saw (roughly ten minutes before the fight was meant to start) he could only talk/promote himself.

yes Haye has an ego and was trying to get himself a fight, but if Haye is a disgrace what is Chisora? cheap shot at weigh in, spit in someones face and starts a fight at the post fight press conference, real class act.

RE: Boxing - damncensorship - 19-02-2012 19:52

Come on guys this was clearly a set-up. Why didn't security escort Haye out as soon as he started mouthing off? Why was Haye even in the press conference in the first place? He was doing commentary/analysis on the fight, he's not a journalist so has no place being there. Boxing is struggling, the heavyweight division in particular, and it's losing more and more fans to MMA, that's why these 'WWE style' press conferences keep occurring.
