RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - gator8 - 14-05-2012 13:17 I'm not surprised at some that have been cancelled. I enjoyed The Ringer but couldn't see where it would go with another season. It's a shame about Alcatraz and also I did quite like The Finder. I did think one of the CSI's would go but expected it to be NY and not Miami. I'm glad Fringe gets a final season to wrap things up. I must admit I get a bit pissed off each year when I start getting into new shows to find they get cancelled but as said if they don't get big ratings to start with they don't last long and get to develop. At least they'lll be a bunch of new shows next season to try out. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - bigguy01 - 14-05-2012 18:21 its not just the ratings its the demographic ratings. body of proof on abc gets about 6m each ep but low ratings for its demographic yet a reality show on the same channel gets low viewer rating yet high demographic ratings. i dont see cbs dropping ncis, ncis la, criminal minds, person of interest and the mentalist anytime soon. people at fox must be absolutly thick they cancel the finder yet have about 6 new reality shows starting. Good idea, I watched 18 episodes back to back, then the show took a two week break for Easter. Took six weeks to watch the last 4 eps. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - bigguy01 - 14-05-2012 21:40 will be watching the last 2 eps of once upon a time after question of sport. when first heard of this last year i thought it was going to be good however its not good its brilliant loved all the twists on the back stories of each fairytale character. cant wait until sept/oct for season2. Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz who created this were also script writers on lost which jj abrams recenlty had about 3 shows cancelled after their 1st season. grimm is coming to rather excellant finish. cant wait for season 2. grimm can easily go for 10 seasons with about 200 grimm stories and all the other folklore/fairytales from around the world. unforgettable with poppy montgomery (without a trace) has been cancelled. i thought it was excellant. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - skully - 15-05-2012 13:04 I'm enjoying Grimm also, it's much better than I thought it would be. Monroe has been the best thing about season 1.
