There is a petition on the Govt website to BAN PORNOGRAPHY FROM NEWSAGENTS AND PETROL STATIONS. Its got 780 votes.

There is another petition for Freedom for adults to make informed viewing choices after 9pm asking for babe channels to be given fair treatment. That means being able to show cert 18 strength content at night, same as for swearing, violence and horror. Its got 594 votes.

At the moment its looking like more support for banning adult content than allowing it. Dont be in any doubt, if "porn" is banned from newsagents it wont be allowed on TV either.

Anyone who likes babe channels and thinks censorship and victimisation has gone too far should nip over to http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/13222 enter a valid address, postcode and their email address, and be sure to click the verification email that gets sent. Signatures are confidential in case anyone is worried. The voters list is not checked, but the postcode must be genuine.
