Silly newspaper rumour that the overweight and out of form Rooney is trying to get £300k a week. That equates to 11.5 x the average annual UK wage for a week's "work". Sheer fucking greed.

Bound to be out of form as he has been injured for the last few weeks though have to agree that 300k a week is an obscene amount for anyone to earn in wages. He's not alone in this unfair world for being overpaid though.

Yes a lot of fans do post a lot of misguided shit. Also the club's often play a game of smoke & mirrors with the press. Never build my hopes until they are wearing the shirt and kicking the ball.
