we wish ffs.....you watch it will be an Argentina vs Germany final now...slow starters ending strong annoyed

I wouldn't be at all surprised. Gutted the Argies are through after their lame display against Croatia. But the big teams always seem to find a way.

I'm always amused that those within the industry like to see the big teams go through but the man in the street likes to see them go out.

We get great drama for the second night running as Argentina squeeze through to the next round with a late winner against Nigeria. They now meet France on Saturday.

Group F is the next to be concluded, in which Mexico need only a point against Sweden to qualify and finish top. Germany will surely beat South Korea and seal their own qualification.

South Korea probably won't trouble Germany much. However I do think Mexico are the likeliest S/American team to go furthest

what both Brazil & Argentina have shown have been very lacklustre performances and Argentina got through last night by the skin of their teeth.

No you can't really fine teams for settling for a draw when a draw is a good result for them.

It was a boring game no doubt, but to be fair it's the only boring game we've had so far.

^ Looking at it France seemed to be the team going for the win while Denmark looked content to settle for a draw

Mexico isn't in South America. Even the most southerly part of Mexico is well over 1,000 miles from South America.
