Would be nice to see both underdogs beat the favourite teams today and with one or both of them losing might take a little pressure of England's last three games, but I can't see it happening.

I would say three of the four semi places are almost cemented, and the last one is up for grabs between England Sri Lanka and Bangladesh as it stands. England would have won that game yesterday had they not allowed themselves to get dominated by the Sri Lankan bowlers then get carried away in trying to hit out.

Afghanistan come close to a shock win over India but ultimately come up 11 runs short chasing a target of 224.

Carlos Brathwaite's heroics proved in vain as West Indies were bowled out for 286 chasing 292 to beat New Zealand.
Great century to give his side hope but all for nothing in the end.

Magnificent game of cricket between West Indies and New Zealand with the windies falling 5 runs short of an improbable victory mainly thanks to a tremendous century from Carlos Braithwaite.
Best game of the tournament so far.
