The group stage saw 8 penalties scored out of 14. Goalkeepers saved 4, Gerard Moreno hit the post and Gareth Bale's shot went over the bar.

So the knockout stages start today with Denmark-Wales. Despite being favorites, Denmark haven't won a tournament knock out match for 23 years. The other match today is Italy-Austria and Italy are the clear favourites having scored 32 goals since the last time anyone scored against them.

Amongst all those Danish named players is a Martin Braithwaite.
He's the Danish player with the Yorkshire name.
