RE: Dr Who - lovebabes56 - 21-08-2019 08:04 Just watched a Youtube vid of a nut explaining why Dr who is a mess. In it he feels Jodie Whitaker doesn't really suit the role RE: Dr Who - M-L-L - 23-08-2019 00:05 (21-05-2019 21:18 )babelover48 Wrote: Are there monsters from the 70's & 80's that have only appeared once in the program and haven't been seen since you'd love to be used in future? Get the feeling the new regime doesn't seem that keen - only a token Dalek for the Xmas special (grudgingly given some airtime between all the relationship stuff between the regular Tardis crew and guest characters) 70s / 80s monsters/aliens that haven't had a reboot - The Axons ? The Draconians ? The Ogrons ? The Wirrn ? The Kraals ? The Krynoids ? The Mandragora ? The Fendahl ? The Jagroth ? The Terileptils ? The Mara ? The Tractators ? and I can't really be bothered with the Colin Baker / McCoy years. Wasn't there a Bertie Bassett monster ? They could bring that back. I've never eaten Liquorice Allsorts since RE: Dr Who - lovebabes56 - 23-08-2019 06:39 You have to conquer that fear mate somehow, at least ir wasn't an Jelly Baby monster!! I remember that too put me off Allsorts for ages too. I have seen rumours circulating one episode may be involve the Sea Devils which is nice but I always thought that the Sea Devils and the Silurians go hand in hand - meaning you couldn't feature one without the othervand one episode is Dalek based too!! When they do the next regeneration do they cast another woman in the role or do they go back to a male doctor? RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 03-09-2019 12:48 Another Blu-ray boxset a-coming: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgHRLi02JAc The last original series. RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 12-10-2019 16:46 Bloody students! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW8yk-m5Ig8 Preston not featured. RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 24-10-2019 20:28 The CiN charity album, featuring Dave Tennant and Jodie Whittaker, among others, is subject of a prog on BBC1 next Wednesday night. In less salubrious news, a rare clip of Jon Pertwee flogging Zanussi, as the Doctor, has cropped up in the last day or two. See if you can tell why it's not been shown since 1981: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8r6HA2muMo RE: Dr Who - andyjb - 25-10-2019 00:56 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQ-xzQ01m3U RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 14-11-2019 21:35 I wouldn't normally bring up cheap & tacky spin-offs with no real connection to the current series... However: https://twitter.com/sisterhood_karn/status/1195032972434558979 This calls for a rare use of "WTF?!" |
