I hate Sonnens pro-wrestling personality, i don't care if it is just a character to promote the fight he's a cheating, lying, convicted criminal. I hope Silva does break his face.

Sorry I'm not around much. I'm avoiding the channels and barely frequenting the forum, so I'm not tempted to call the 'babes' and spend money IO can't really afford to.

I've set my alarm for 2.30am so I can join my neighbour and watch the show in his flat, later. Absolutely cannot wait!

Hope you all enjoy it Smile

So after all the build up it went off as expected other than Anderson not really doing anything out of the ordinary. Chael showed he's not got the winning instinct once again & Silva showed he only needs the slightest of openings to get the job done.

Decent show for Tito's last fight but I think Joe Rogan was a bit pissed off with not getting to do Tito's last octagon interview Big Laugh. Quality shot from Chad Mendes although the Maia stoppage came about a bit strange.

RE: UFC - groundnpound - 09-07-2012 02:29

The best part of the show was seeing one of the old childhood heros in the crowd! Ronaldo, legend of a man. Looks like he's been on the Roy Nelson diet for a bit though! Rolleyes

Think Silva knew after the 1st round he had to put Sonnen away first chance he got. The change the sport forever idea went straight out the window. Big let down after the build up!

Griffin's a weird character... Thought he was well out of order with his interview hijack! Tito's last post fight interview! Pissed me off anyway. Think Ortiz refused his apology after the event. Wish he ko'd Griffin, would've made the night.

That one trick streak of piss Cody Mckenzie should be cut from the UFC. Thought that match up was quite disrespectful to Mendes... Mckenzie shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a lad like him.

Bit of a miserable post but i thought the event was a major flop. bladewave

Sounds like someone got out of the wrong side of Shane Can'twin's bed at half three this morning. Wink

Sounds like Bisping is saying he's gonna KO Brian Stann [Image: 69.gif]

wouldn't read too much into it, read an article before the weekend that had Dana white talking about they prefer it not too draw attention to fighters pay ( i'll try and find it if you want) but for example GSP's declared pay was about $200,000 but he admitted he earns several million per fighted above, i would think its similar for Silva with the amount Mitchell posted above.
