Nolan and Joy seem to be giving this the Westworld treatment. Looks interesting RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - KerrAvon - 16-09-2022 19:05 Blade Runner 2099 TV series has been greenlit by Amazon. Ridley Scott on board so should be promising https://www.ign.com/articles/blade-runner-2099-amazon-announces-live-action-series RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - *Kal-El* - 16-09-2022 23:31 The Willow Disney+ series gets a new poster RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - *Kal-El* - 03-11-2022 21:30 Riverdale, Nancy Drew, The Flash and now Stargirl ending on there current seasons with Flash ending on season 9. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - skully - 04-11-2022 13:31 The Flash has gone for longer than I thought it would tbf, enjoyable for the most part, but can be a bit samey quite a lot. Riverdale has had a good run for such an out there show, fun stuff even when utterly bonkers. They knew their time was up. Stargirl has been a bit of a let down from the get go, so no great loss. Some writing etc was just not very good imo. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - *Kal-El* - 05-11-2022 01:16 ^^^ the CW been bought by another most of the big wigs that were there didn’t like what was going on and left, it’s nothing to do with how many seasons a show has or writing or viewing figures the new company is clearing stuff out to save money personally I think it’s wrong choice because you always kept your bread and butter shows. Notice how it started with one Arrowverse show then they keep adding to it or if a show ended they would replace it with another show but they haven’t been doing that, also notice all of non Arrowverse dc shows have moved to HBO Max like Titans, Pennyworth, Doom Patrol, Peacemaker etc etc and new shows like Gotham police series and Penguin series spin offs of The Batman. Theses ever rumours of some of characters off Black Adam getting shows. The next series to go could Superman and Lois all tho that was originally on HBO Max so they move it back. My guess with the CW it’s gonna be stream lined then eventually disappear which is shame. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - KerrAvon - 05-11-2022 08:56 Westworld cancelled, cast still paid for final season though. The Warner Bros broom keeps on sweeping hard https://deadline.com/2022/11/westworld-core-cast-paid-season-5-cancellation-reasons-1235164050/ RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - KerrAvon - 05-11-2022 12:08 New trailer for Emily Blunt's western series The English (BBC/Amazon Prime). Premiers on BBC2/iPlayer 10th November RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - *Kal-El* - 05-11-2022 14:24 The dumb thing with HBO is Season 5 of Westworld was supposed to be last season wrapping things up. |
