RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - lovebabes56 - 10-07-2014 17:36 I think, to be honest Germany have been perhaps the side they all had to beat whether it was in the group or knockout stages. You have to admire their tactical strengths and playing strengths and wonder how we have never got anywhere near as close to the way they play. But what we probably do forget is they have brought up most of this team up through their youth system together and six of their youth team from say five six years go or more have grown up together and we never seem to bring quality youngsters too. Now that the dominance of Spain has ended, we now have to expect a dominance period for Germany and I have to say it looks positively frightening as to what this team could achieve in the next few years and their standards are going to be possibly very hard to match. And can England come close? I very much doubt it. We definitely have to re -work our game structure from the ground up if we want to be where Germany are now. And the targets have to be realistic ones to begin with. Germany beat Argentina in the last 2 World Cups. RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - lovebabes56 - 11-07-2014 08:05 they only beat Argentina 1-0 in the 1990 final though I'm sure. I have feeling that this time could be a different score line.
