if we had of stuck with the Tire system Kent would have gone up through the tiers before getting into level 3 about 3 weeks ago when had there covid explosion, so the system would have worked,
the interesting thing is Kent went into high levels of covid during this last lockdown, the council leader saying that it happened due to huge numbers of people in kent not following the rules,
so it looks like the people of Kent have messed things up by not following the rules, at the end of the day if most people dont follow what ever the rule is then what ever system is in will not work,
i think it telling that the leader in Liverpool talks of the very good following of the rules there that now sees them in level 2,
i think Liverpool proves the system dose work as long as the people do what they need to do

that system is now going to be in for all level 3 areas so hopefully if people follow all the rules as well as the people of liverpool the we should see a lot of areas in level 2 soon,

It’s so blatantly a political decision that Greater Manchester is in Tier 3 in my opinion in response to Andy Burnham standing up to the government

i would have thought those are the 2 main reasons , mass testing and everyone following the rules, what do you think got the numbers down in Liverpool mate

Mass testing & compliance does work. I can't really see how the tier system would've been sufficient to get a grip without a 2nd lockdown. Tier 3 needed strengthening, tier 2 worked to some degree & tier 1 is about as much use as a chocolate fire-guard. If you consider that the new tiers have been decided on, after the first 3 weeks of a 4 week lockdown with stricter rules than the original tiers, despite that, most have either stayed in tier 3 or moved from 2 to 3.

For all those who are home working the Maldives have come up with the ideal way for you to do it.
You can work from there.
They have come up with imaginative ways to help travelers stay socially distanced while still enjoying a vacation. Options include tree pods, treetop dining to underwater villas.
You just need a negative virus test before traveling..

All you need to do is get the boss to agree Cool

Well from looking at Andy Burnham’s twitter it’s clear he thinks it’s political pointscoring by the government towards him & Greater Manchester leaders. Plus he’s liked a tweet that I tweeted him saying I thought it was political pointscoring by the government

You really should consider having " Andy Burnham liked my tweet" as your signature. Bounce
