I am obviously not talking about the players but the fans. Causing more Metropolitan Police to be called into the area because of violence? There were already 1000 in the fucking area! Invading the pitch and causing play to be suspended? Stupid bunch of fucking c unts, they aren't fans they are fucking mugs. It is a disgrace and makes the entire sport look bad, twats.

Fellow East End club? I think you need to check this on a map.

What went on last night was a total embarrasment to English football fans.

I have said on another forum a few years ago when Villa and Blues fans clashed outside Villa park that more needs to be done when teams with violent history towards each other meet in any competition!

I think special mention needs to go to the dickhead west ham player who did absolutley everything in his power to ensure that an already tense atmosphere boiled over!!!

West Ham and Milwall should have played that game at midday if you ask me. The same should apply when any rival teams (those with a violent history) get drawn in midweek cup fixtures.

I understand that it would be difficult for people to get time off work etc to attend but i think its best in the long run and would drastically reduce incidents of the magnitude of last night.

the only way it could have been stopped is if the game was played behind closed doors. not far for the 99%of real fans who love the game, but these 2 clubs have a nasty history and the FA know it, the MET police not it and both clubs know it.

if they ever get drawn against each other in future, it has to be played behind closed doors, end of.

to play the game at midday would make no difference to the wankers who want to fight. they have plenty of time to plan and get organized due to the timescale of when the draw is made and the match taking place. which also gives the FA, Police and both clubs enough time to come up with a sensible solution rather than putting thousands of innocent people at risk by allowing this much to go ahead as normal.

i dont like closed door games, but sometimes it is for the best!

Well my little brother and his mate got back safe and sound and it was as I expected, they were nowhere near any of the violence, they said it was fucking idiots going onto the pitch inside the ground but the ones that invaded the pitch did not actually (for the most part) have malice in mind. But outside the stadium they said that it was simple enough to avoid all of the violence (which they did) and the trouble was only around people that actually wanted trouble. Fucking pathetic arseholes.
