Having just watched the first episode i have to say i enjoyed it but maybe a little over hyped and unnecessarily melodramatic at times but i shall give it time.

RE: flashforward - Stacey - 13-10-2009 16:20

I enjoyed it albeit a bit hyped but will sure watch it again & give it a go

RE: flashforward - Deb x - 13-10-2009 19:05

I'm still undecided. I'm finding it quite convoluted and apocalyptic at the moment - all a bit dark and depressing and that's starting to get tiresome for me. I'm also getting a sneaky feeling when we find out what it's all about it's going to be a disappointing letdown bladewave
I had a spark of interest with the crows thing; that'll keep me watching for one more week, at least...but after that, not sure Rolleyes

it would probably be better with a different leading man. joe fiennes has the charisma of a spittoon with the accumulated phlegm of 20 years hard service. in other words he has the charisma of his brother raefe.

the show is very fast paced i think. some people say its slow but i disagree. not sure if it will be able to maintain the revelations without them becoming more repetitive.

in the future flash the main guy is studying the board of evidence built up about the flash so it happened and the future people would remember their jumps. why then did the events in the flash happen since they knew what was going to happen in the first place? would the main character be at work at that time when he knew he was going to be in danger? would the black guy be on the crapper? remember they all know the exact time they jumped to so why would they not have mass gatherings and events planned for the biggest and wierdest event in human history? would people just be doing their normal business at this one monumental time that everyone on the planet knows about? if in the future they are still investigating the event then they obviously are still not finished with it. so why bother?

unless they explain these things i would say their story is very flawed.

RE: flashforward - little gimp - 31-03-2010 00:44

I'm really glad this show is back on,there's nothing else as dark as this on TV and i love a bit of darkness,it's also one of the only programs where you genuinely don't know what's going to happen next. There is also the plus of the actress who is getting drowned in her flash forward and now works in the hospital,i try not to blink when she is on screen as i don't want to miss a frame of her beautiful faceTongue

well they've cancelled flashforward! annoying as it was getting really good! but the producers had said they filmed a few different endings for the finale in case they got cancelled, which answers a few questions, but not all.
