U say urself and other top scientists, jus out of curiosity, what part r u playing in helping and defeating death by finding this "ground-breaking" discovery?

He's making the tea!

And, given that this is only one form of cell death, how does your substance target only those enzymes wich are responsible for cell death?

I wouldn't hold your breath for an answer Shady.Big Grin

Yeah, I thought a technical question might piss on his chips! Big Grin

Applee, you could have Googled the answer by now at least! Bounce

Haha Applee you fail so hard!

Come on Applee87, it should be a simple enough question for you and the other top scientists you work with. Huh

Sorry i was away for so long,i have had a lot of work to do in the lab.
Ok then shady cee,My role is to experiment with this substance to get it perfect, with no side effects at all,as you said about apoptosis, apoptosis is what makes the cell die.But this substance stops apoptosis from working.I cannot say too much because, if any of my bosses sees this i will lose my job
as this is top secret. But you also asked me how i stop the emzymes that cause cell death ok i will tell you! Now emzymes have different shaped active sites, the good ones have a different shape than the bad ones,we have conditioned our substance so that it only denatures the bad ones.As you said about google Ha, don't make me laugh i don't need google im a top scientist!

Hey guys, look up telomerase and telomeres. Its thought the more cell cycles a cell undergoes the shorter the telomeres get, so cells have a finate life span even following mitosis. As telomeres get shorter we get older and eventually die. So how do you fix that son?

Hmmm, I thought that being a top scientist you would actually have corrected my deliberate error when I said there was zero metbolic activity in the apoptosis process. That was the question after all, yet you completely missed it.

Sorry applee87 my old mate, but you are clearly talking shite and very clearly off your head. But hey, it gives us all a bit of a laugh so by all means carry on making an arse of yourself in the threads. We're having a wonderful time following your exploits as a 'Top Scientist'. Bounce Big Laugh

Just out of interest, were you one of the "Top men" who were looking into the Ark of the Covenant at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark?

Loving the Lily Roma and Donna Duke rubbish by the way Big Grin

Hmmmm jungleboy, that sounds like a job for Applee87!

I guess he forgot that there are programmed cells with a pre-determined life span, which at the moment, defy any explanation as to why or indeed how they are programmed.

60 cycles sound about right to you Applee87?

Jungleboy)Mitosis is when the cells copy themselfs to make new cells and miosis is when the sex cells reproduce,as the cells copy problems in the deoxyribonulic acid develop over time and the cells age causing death.A bit like ,recording a tape over and over again the picture quality goes and thats the same what happens to the cell as it keeps renewing itself. Our substance stops this by stopping the deoxyribonulic acid from going wrong,so that as the cell divides it is perfect everytime, therefore we stay young forever and are able to have children as well!
