Ok - what applications have you tried using to join the two files? Also, you're using a PC, not a Mac I presume?

I'm using hjsplit to join them, and 7zip to extract. Using a laptop.

You shouldn't need to extract anything using 7zip. Using HJ Split to join the two files (which are called amanda_is_horny.avi.001 and amanda_is_horny.avi.002) should produce one file called amanda_is_horny.avi
Is this the case? If not, what is the name of the file you get after using HJ Split?

That's the file I get but it doesn't play, the file thumbnail is default.
I use vlc player.

Right. How big is the joined video file called amanda_is_horny.avi? Mine is 191.2 MB
Also, check that you have the latest version of VLC as an older version may be what's causing the issue. You can download the latest version here. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
