tI do feel a tad bit sorry for him he's not had the best of health or luck since the fusion surgery and playing - wise, he was getting somewhere back towards the old Tiger we knew. I just hope this accident is not the career ending injury we may all be fearing it is, but I am wondering if this scuppers any chance of him playing this season not only at home but abroad and to not see him in the Open this summer probably is a huge disappointment for many, if crowds will be back then, but hopefully it might swing the edge back towards Europe in the Ryder Cup.

I think golf as a sport, acfross ther world owes him an awful lot for raising the profile of the sport a touch and for getting people through the turnstiles watching him play and I would say probably the Olympic gold medal probably is the one single thing missing in his collection and even his appearance in Japan if he was going, that has to be in doubt.

I wish him the best for his recovery.

Is the spot where her cxrashed and accident blackspot?

'Los Angeles County Sheriffs confirmed that golf pro Tiger Woods was involved in a single-car crash with major damage to the vehicle on Tuesday morning. There were no other people involved in the crash'

He's suffered multiple leg injuries and is currently in surgery.

Yeah 12 years later but must of been way worse.

He is very very very lucky to still be alive.

^He is very lucky to be alive after seeing the pictures

I suffered something similar (but not in a car crash) in 2000/2001 although not a compound fracture, I broke my left leg in two places after falling off ladder and have a bar and pins from just below knee down to my ankle and the local hospital said it was at the time, it one of the worst they had seen.
I was lucky to have a great physiotherapist but it was 17 and a half days in hospital took me about 10 days to get around on a frame before I could go home. But was off work for five months and only was at work two weeks before i qas made redundant.

I would expect it probably would take Tiger at least a year to recover from this but I would think he would be aimimg for a lot sooner than that, given his determination, but will we see him on a golf course ever again?? If he was to ocme back it would be something way more remearkable thsn his last Us Masters win he won after back fusion surgery.
