Sadly if WWE's current plan is to have the rock host raw that night i cant see TNA doing to well even if they got Hogan. An am sure this isn't a regular thing i am sure its a one off TNA special to see if it does make any dent in raws rating. Sadly i think this is gunna be a big mistake for TNA.

the plan is if tna go good on monday they make perament move to mondaynites

Thats the thing i dont think they will do good at the moment Impact goes up against Superstars on a Thursday Night an they just about beat Superstars which is in my Eyes WWE's least important show so ainit looking good so ainit looking good if TNA can just about beat superstars they have no chance of good ratings going up against Raw.

The December 3rd edition of TNA iMPACT! did a 1.0 cable rating.
The December 3rd edition of WWE Superstars did a 0.9 cable rating.
The December 1st edition of WWE Raw did a 3.3 cable rating.

I don't watch or follow WWE in any way, shape or form. However, as has been eluded to already in this thread, the Monday Night Wars consisted of one Promotion against another, on a totally head-to-head basis. WWF only ran 1 show a week, RAW. WCW NITRO aired the same evening.

The details of this current proposal seem sketchy. TNA don't currently have the talent to run 2 shows a week & imo struggle to run one. As a rule, this is their (unofficial) cycle: PPV, next IMPACT you may get a couple of decent spin-off matches, following 2 weeks - nothing spectacular, 4th week - no 'real' matches involving anyone who's in the next PPV, in case they get injured etc. etc.

Hogan might bring something to the party, but whilst he may have a wealth of influence & knowledge, how much of that relates to anything RELEVANT this side of 1996, is questionable. God forbid he involves; Bischoff, Brutus Beefcake & his other cronies, but that's a strong possibility.

I'd love to see WWE get their asses handed to them, but after the initial hoo-ha, can't see there being any earth shattering changes in the overall balance of power. WWE can still afford to poach wrestlers & stick 'em on the shelf, just so they aren't working elsewhere + they're in NY & that'll always make a difference.

In the last footage I saw of Hogan, speaking about his involvement with TNA, there was a dirty great pile of his current book(s), stacked behind him. Very tacky.

The funniest scenario would be Hogan, Foley & Taz suddenly appearing in a WWE ring in 18 months time (knowing details of TNA’s business inside out), Vince at their side with a maniacal grin.

On the plus-side Wolfe / Angle is just the best thing in years.

and try get a gd rating ( yeah ok)

BUT WWE JAN 4TH GUEST HOST

BEST THERE IS

BEST THERE WAS

BEST THERE EVER WILL BE

THE HITMAN 7 TIME WORLD CHAMPION BRET HART MIGHT GUEST HOST RAW

TNA ( GOOD LUCK) LOLOL

JR on Bret Hart possibly hosting RAW: The teasing of Bret Hart potentially hosting Raw was cool. That was the first that I had officially heard of any sort of 'Hitman' return but it's always good to see Bret in any forum and one would think that the WWE HOF'er would enhance the ratings for Raw when and if Bret does make an appearance. Could that particular appearance occur on January 4? Your guess is as good as mine.

Huge fan of the Hitman back in the day would like to see him host RAW on the 4th and play a major part on the 'Road to Wrestlemania' in WWE.

On the head-to-head the RAW number won't move and I can see TNA officials being real disappointed with what they end up getting. But apparently they may be bringing back their own version of the nWo with Nash, Hall and Waltman, that would be cool and apparently Hall's demons ain't affecting him that much thesedays compared to the past. If TNA could get them back and build their new stars on a bigger viewership like Wolfe, Styles and Joe that would be great. Competition could bring something better out of WWE but if it turns into the Hogan show then that'll suck, so a big NO to the Nasty Boys from me.

AHAHAHHHH AWWW THE NWO

WRESTING FANS DVD COMMING IN 2010 THE RISE AND FALL OF TNA DVD3 DISK SET

YOU HEAR FROM DOUBLE J AND DIXIE CARTER WILL FINALLY TELL THE WORLD WHY SHE SIGNED A WASTE OF CUNT LIKE HOGAN AND WHY SHE LET HIM RUN TNA OUT OF BIZ

Another go at WWE booking an invasion that takes place on the ECW and Superstars shows it would be that unimportant.

Talk is that Nash uses the briefcase he won to take a tag title shot. But really if they do bring in Waltman and Hall to go with Hogan then it probably won't have a huge change on the wrestling landscape like Hulk believes this all will. Angle, Booker, Stenier, Sting and Christian to be honest none of them took TNA to a place anywhere near the level of WWE so Hogan reckons he can do it.... erm yeah right.

RVD to TNA? Your thoughts, I've always enjoyed RVD and his matches even though at points in his WWE tenure they could become a tad predictable but his ECW matches could frequently touch amazing on the scale. But apart from matches against Joe and Styles I would prefer to see him back in WWE against Punk, Christian, Edge, Micheals, Taker and Jericho. Some of those feuds there have been done just like it and wouldn't mind seeing them repeated.

RE: WWE V TNA january 4TH 2010 - alanafan232 - 22-12-2009 23:58

tna can bring in god and satan and have them in a 2 out of 3 falls fire hell match

bottom line is bret's comming bk to raw and tna will get crushed

RE: WWE V TNA january 4TH 2010 - rocksaviour - 23-12-2009 00:14

At the minute I watch what WWE I can but will try extra hard to watch all of there RAW with Bret as Host, if he is that finishes off a nice run of three big 'Worldwide' faces that people know with Timbaland, Tyson and then the great Bret. Some of the hosts like that bloke on the Slammys week were utter crap IMO.

One thing this is a 3 hour Impact, will Bravo stick with it or edit it down to a normal two hours, any reliable guides to work with.
