RE: [ Tutorial ] How to upload pictures... - limpwrist - 17-02-2009 17:13 no problem at all flavid! RE: [ Tutorial ] How to upload pictures... - nine hundred - 06-05-2009 17:06 Thanks for this walk-through guide. I found it really helpful. Its probably saved me a good chunk of time in having to not figure it out myself . All the more time for posting pics then i guess . Cheers Limpwrist, I see your status is set to 'away' but your efforts are very much appreciated RE: [ Tutorial ] How to upload pictures... - SmĀ© - 06-05-2009 18:06 Is anyone else having problems with imagebams multi upload function? I keep getting an I/O error on every picture Had a good site rip to post, but i dont have the patience to do it 30 pics at a time. RE: [ Tutorial ] How to upload pictures... - skateguy - 06-05-2009 18:16 I find occasionally that it just won't work when their servers are having problems. They usually resolve it within a day. Alternatively, you could try zipping the pictures and using the upload zip file function? RE: [ Tutorial ] How to upload pictures... - TheWatcher - 07-05-2009 11:25 I tend to use the picsaway site more these days. I think their thumbnails look better. RE: [ Tutorial ] How to upload pictures... - skateguy - 07-05-2009 11:30 I only use picsaway for embedding, as I get the impression that like pixelup.net, they might not last too long or be functional on a consistent basis. RE: [ Tutorial ] How to upload pictures... - Josh - 07-05-2009 17:07 If picsaway disappears, here are a few other image hosting sites that allow hotlinking embedded picsat full size. http://www.io3.us/ http://www.sigmirror.com/ http://xtupload.com/# http://www.motor.com/ http://myadultimage.com/ http://thesmuthost.com/ http://imagehostdirectory.com/index.php?c=39 RE: [ Tutorial ] How to upload pictures... - skateguy - 10-05-2009 20:42 Well, just two days after we spoke about it, it seems picsaway is no longer a viable host for picture embedding. I presume they've removed either every picsaway photo posted on this forum or every nude/topless/glamour photo. So far every picsaway photo in this thread has been deleted. http://www.babeshows.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=4958&page=1 At least they don't take an eternity trying to load a pic that isn't there, and instead show a 'pic deleted' icon. EDIT: They're working again for the moment - maybe it was a temporary issue, although its odd that they'd show a 'file deleted/suspended' icon. RE: [ Tutorial ] How to upload pictures... - TheWatcher - 11-05-2009 11:31 I was unable to load any pics or zips to picsaway this morning. Got error message about copy failing each time. Had to use imagebam. Actually used their zip tool facility for the first time. It worked fine. Just a general point, if you set your imagebam thumbnails to 180x180 as I do, use a maximum of 4 thumbnails in a row or the display will look strange on a 15 inch monitor. For picsaway the limit should be 3 in a row since their thumbnails are slightly larger. |
