Sorry, didn't read your post properly. I'm not sure what it refers to Stan. It could be Amy Williams or Jo Guest on the day time show 'laying on their back (fully clothed mind) and thrusting their hips forward miming sex' - something like that. Maybe it was 'rubbing between their legs'? I don't think it matters - it could have been (off the top of my head) 'Amanda masturbating with a cucumber' for all I care.
Can I just add that contrary to what you said to mikedafc, we're very interested in things such as Amanda flashing and 'lollygate'. These are the things which get reported by 'the' (usually just the one) mysterious viewer and then Ofcom claim these 'exceeded expectations' also apply to the 'vast majority'.

) and what they do but, do/have they done anything that goes beyond what you'd like or expect to see on a channel in the "adult section of the EPG" (flashing and such)? That's what I want to know. If that's what you'd like to be able to see more often with or without paying then I suppose the channels only deliver what you really want (and might expect to see in a free country) rarely - so, they rarely meet your expectations for supposedly adult shows (not trying to put words in your mouth or anything).Forget what the Code says - this is about YOUR expectations. Your chance to have your say on what you, as an adult, want/expect to see on an 'adult' channel.

Doh! What you would like to see is really the issue Watcher.
You say your expectations - what you would like and be quite happy to see on 'adult' channels - are not being met. This is what I need to know Watcher. If the std. output is below what you clearly would expect and is perhaps only occaisionally met by slips, flashes and lollipops then I'd say the content rarely (ie. on rare occaisions) meets your expectations. However, if such 'oops' moments go beyond what you'd expect on 'adult' channels then I think that would rank as a 'rarely exceeds my expectations' - i.e. on rare occaisions they perhaps go a bit too far is what I meant. I know Skate thinks this option may be a bit ambiguous and I think I see what he means now - I'll live with it because I think it essentially amounts to the same thing by implication. I should probably have added a 'never exceeds my expectations', which by implication, is included in everything up to and including 'meets my expectations'.
The options are (I thought) representative of the range of views we might expect from the broad-minded libertarian, to the average viewer, through to the staunch prudish anti-libertarian - in that order from top to bottom. In the context of the questionnaire; 'never', 'rarely', 'often' and 'always' are all intended to indicate the frequency with which people are generally left feeling let down or, conversely, shocked, by what's on screen according to their own tastes and expectations of what an adult channel should show. What Ofcom say it may show is what I believe leaves people feeling let down - and by the looks of it the vast majority of responses are heading that way.

the main thing for me that i have never been able to understand is why they aren't allowed to use stronger language on the mic. the shows are clearly rated 18+, which in itself is a fuckin' joke; they air after the 9pm watershed when on the terrestrial channels you hear tons of swearing, yet on the so called sex chat channels they have to resort to talking about 'clocks' and making crappy innuendoes. they're can't be fined for using strong language after 9pm surely ?

Good debate here. I am at a loss as to how TVX and TAC can still be in business when their shows are butchered, not censored. There are more shots of mens arses on TVX than their is on the Gay channels...with the likes of tubestation offering literally thousands of high quality free downloads I wonder who pays £20 a month to watch endless repeats of softcore?
As for the babechannels people who watch them do so deliberately, you don't come across (no pun intended) these shows, they are deliberately sited at the end of the EPG. I am a normal man, with a sensible job, friends, partners and do a good deal of voluntary work. I am not a flasher mac weirdo, I simply enjoy the female form, as I do a nice pint of beer or a game of football. Until we convince the censors that there is precisely nothing offensive about a beautiful woman then we are treading water. It needs a combined campaign off all the broadcasters, such as a "right everyone 11pm tonight, all channels go full frontal now fine us all you bastards"

The adult channels are really 'adult lite' material that is rather tame. They operate under prurient regulations from OFCOM and the situation seems to be worsening.

Ian G- the point I was making was that the likes of Caty and Amanda are performers rather than a lot of the girls who are sex phone line operators who don't move around or provide the viewer with visual stimulation to go with what they are saying on the phone. The point of these shows is that they are interactive. If all you want is phone sex then the girl doesn't need to be on TV, doesn't have to go topless etc.
One of the daytime girls turned night-time told me that I don't know what is required of them and obviously I don't for the company that she works for as it is clearly massively different then what was required of them up until Mar/Apr of 2009.

I think the shows are getting a lot nearer to meeting my expectations. The girls are getting naked on the shows or at least as near as possible to being so. Even though Cleo is my favourite I'm glad they have got her off nights. I think it is ridiculous to have girls on a late night rated 18 show who does not even get them out. Elite TV especially has improved immensely in terms of content and meeting viewer expectations, especially with Caty Cole and the other girl frolicking together tonight.
