RE: Forum Move - Accessing non-working pages - TheWatcher - 23-02-2010 20:43 This was the thread created nearly a year ago when the forum last moved. http://www.babeshows.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=5233&pid=94975#pid94975 A lot of people had problems, including myself. The info in this post and earlier ones may be useful again to others who cannot wait for their ISP to update their name servers or have access problems. Please note the IP numbers in that post are the old ones. They need changing to the new ones, 174.123.87.210 RE: Forum Move - Accessing non-working pages - mrwotzup - 23-02-2010 21:05 (23-02-2010 20:11 )KateP Wrote: what does the host file have to do with this site it only has my isp address in mine sorry if I am being a bit stupid here while I can access the site search is not working Here you go..Search http://174.123.87.210/~babevide/search.php RE: Forum Move - Accessing non-working pages - skateguy - 23-02-2010 21:07 (23-02-2010 20:15 )skateguy Wrote: I don't think its your FF settings. The displaying of thumbs seems to sometimes work and sometimes not. I also see that some full size embedded images are currently displaying at smaller sizes. I assume work is still being done - once the migration to the new servers is complete hopefully they'll all work. If they don't then I'm sure Admin will address it. I've tested some of the resized and non working Imagechunk images on another forum and the same issues exists there - therefore the issue is an IC one and not related to the forum move. I'll contact the owner of IC and let him know. The square brackets have to be removed. I had to use these so the line is displayed correctly in this post. Without these the line is displayed incorrectly as 174.123.87.210 http://www.babeshows.co.uk. It will not work with http:// in the line. It will work immediately when the browser is refreshed. This is what I have done myself. For Windows, this is the direct link to the tutorial http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial51.html I have never tried changing the host file on a Windows computer myself, so cannot advise any further.
