Gotta stick up for Daylight, really enjoyed that film along with cliffhanger!

But his best film has to be - Over The Top!

"Im goin' through you like gas through a funnel" classic - best scene!

I gotta agree with you and for the same reasons, I watched it again a few months back. There is a Rocky of mine that was a Fav too, I think it was the one with the Russian dude, Drago was it? I'm still yet to see the last Rambo and Rocky though, waiting for my Blu-Ray player to arrive firstSmile

Have to say mate both the last Rocky movie and the last Rambo movie were VERY good, Stallone really pulled those 2 off

Cheers Kalel Smile

I can barely remember the other Rocky's, I only remember the fight scenes. There was the one where he first fought Apollo, the Mr T one, Drago and the kid he trained in the last one. Were they all seperate films or did he ever fight two of the above in a sequel?

My friend has been trying to get me to watch the new Rambo 'n' Rocky for a long time Royston. He's a major major fan but I've just never given in. I'm more of a Schwarzenneger man Tongue There are just certain movies that I think none of the 'action men' could compete with; Predator, Terminator 2, Conan, etc. It's stuff I still pull out of my DVD collection on a regular basis. Anyone with me on this or do I walk alone in shame? lol.

I did enjoy the others though (in their prime) i.e. Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Segal, etc.

Aaaaaaaaaaaadriaaaaaaaaaann!! lol

Always found Stallone to be a bit of weird actor. For every piece of brilliance like First Blood or Copland he would make something terrible like Oscar or Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot. At his best he's very, very good but now and again he puts in a truly terrible performance like in Get Carter. I think my favourite film of his is probably a coin toss between First Blood or Copland, both very under-rated performances. I've got to defend Daylight as well, one of the few diasaster films I actually enjoyed.

Tango & Cash is on Sky a lot, might try and catch that over the weekend if its on. Loved that film

You can't even get tango and cash on region 2 any more for some strange reason.
