The bearded master that is tsurugi made me join, too many classic lines to remember but I know I joined just after he did. I just joined straight away.

I found the site in about August 2008 but didn't sign up until about September, so about a month for me. Mainly because of the aforementioned not being able to see attachments without signing up, but what convinced me to join up was the lack of incessant flaming and bitching you see on so many forums. I introduced myself, made a couple of daft posts then just sort of... hung around, much like that party guest who bores everyone rigid in the kitchen but no-one has the heart to tell to get stuffed.

-EDIT- Not "about September", but September. Fact. It's right there at the top of every post I make. D'oh!

Says the guy who setup the flame box Wink

I was lurking til the police moved me on................. Big Grin

On here though - pretty much signed up as soon as I was really aware of it. The most 'lurking' I did involved the almost 24 hours it took for my bloody conformation email to arrive so I could post bladewave annoyed

Sine then, I've faded into the background, seldom ever posting and pretty much keeping myself to myself.........

I joined the site in August 08. It took me til January 09 to make my first post. (surprisingly a vid post too) Reason: Posts from Forum legends like Skateguy and SMc got me posting. Plus not many vid makers back then. Now I lurk in the background and make a post now and again. It also keeps me out of trouble. Big Grin

Get stuffed.

You knock them up, I'll hit them out of the ball park. Sorry, dreadful Americanisms.

I think I lurked for a couple of weeks before the fascination of seeing attachments got to me. Mind you, I've slept since then so I'm probably talking out of my arse.

Must have lurked for a couple of months before i joined in March 09. Took a while to navigate the site and settle in. Then a bearded one posted and called my fav babe a "munter" so i thought this is going to be fun. Rest is history! Enjoy the forum and the "Banter" and now 2000 odd posts later still going strong i think.

cheers SOC.

I didn't lurk at all. When I found the site I noticed it only had just over 100 members and so I thought I'd better sign up and see if I could help to make it successful!
