The Big Red One

A classic World War 2 movie, with Lee Marvin as a battle hardened, world weary sergeant leading a squad of American soldiers through perilous wartime Europe.

War is my favourite genre in film, and this is just one of my many faves in this field. Smile

Not the awful Hollywood remake, Thank God.

Rear Window

James Stewart stars as a paralysed resident in a block of flats, who may or may not have witnessed his creepy neighbour commit a crime....

Pyscological thriller by Alfred Hitchcock that really shreds the nerves..Smile

For me it's Casablanca, I honestly feel it gets better with every viewing and Ingrid Bergman is absolutely stunning in it

Also a huge fan of Angels with Dirty Faces, another genuine classic piece of cinema

"The Incident" (1967) starring Martin Sheen and Tony Musante is a great but very frustrating film. Two thugs terrorize a subway train as the male passengers fail to stand up for themselves or protect their wives. A very claustrophobic movie that gets under your skin because you'd assume, in their position, you'd flippin' smack 'em one. An exploration of the 'Stockholm syndrome'. Well worth a watch.

zulu has to be an all time classic, great film, even better on blu ray. Michael cane is awesome. true story 100 agaisnt five thousand. Dont think the hundred would stand much chance in this day and age.

Each and every one of their films, well technically shorts.
