Totally agree, well made film. It feels like you have actually watched a higher class film! Totally worth the watch and like you say very Enemy of the state'ish!

Just got hold of Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood, looks VERY good. Look it up on youtube for the trailer if your a fellow Clint fan

I'm all about Dark Knight and Hellboy 2 at the minute. Meaning to give Eagle Eye a look, but I didn't catch that at the cinema so I'll probably rent it first. Watched The Warriors again the other night as well, old film but still class.

any ideas why shia leboof is being rammed down our throats? i think he is imagined to be the new robin. i wont see another film with him in it after transformers. he lost a finger to drink driving. does that make him a bad ass ? no. just a shame he didnt loose a hand or two. fucking wonder days reject prick

I would be really surprised if Chris Nolan picked Shite LeBork as the new Robin, the only thing worse than him Indy 4 was the script. If he does turn out to be Robin I won't be watching. You could stand that boy in a room full of child actresses and I still wouldn't be convinced he was the biggest bad-ass in the room! The other rumour doing the rounds at the minute is Rachel Weisz for Catwoman. I could go for that, but could never take LeBork seriously.

Even though he got hyped to hell, I'd still be surprised if anyone topped Heath Ledger's performance as the next villain in the series.

On another note:

From one of my favourite TV shows at the moment - The Big Bang Theory

PS. Sorry, I don't know how to embed videos just yet.. gives me something to read up on at least, as I'm unable to sleep.

sounds like he is picking ed murphy. ick as long as he leaves the trannies alone

sorry but its downhill from the joker

eddy murphy as the riddler? that guy is a screw up in life i dont want to see this.
i would love to see what depp would do with the role.

RE: Your Favourite DVD's at the Moment - Mister Gummidge - 19-12-2008 04:38

In fairness I think everything is downhill from the Joker, but I agree totally that Murphy is absolutely wrong for Batman. The Riddler needs to be able to portray menace as well as maniacal tendencies and Murphy can't do menacing. Besides, trying to the Riddler so soon would just look like trying to foist a poor man's Joker on people when Heath Ledger isn't around anymore. They should try a different style of villain altogether, Bane maybe?
