RE: This is the ENGLAND SQUAD - alexxxi - 11-05-2010 18:18 tbh why would u want to avoid spain, holland, germany, france, brazil, argentina and portugal? to be world champions u have to beat the best in the world so no point in saying we need to avoid these teams... we should be saying we want to play these so we can knock them out and gain confidence!!! ![]() RE: This is the ENGLAND SQUAD - cosmonaut - 11-05-2010 18:27 (11-05-2010 14:43 )Phoenix Wrote: As for Heskey, yes he's not the most talented out there and his goals per season probably averages at about 3 Heskey's goals per season average is 9.6 (club matches only). If we win our group then our second round game will be against the runner up from germany, Australia, Serbia and Ghana. Our quarter final would then be against whoever comes out of the game between the winners of the france, mexico, Uruguay, south Africa group and the runners up from the argentina, south korea, Greece, Nigeria group. We can only play Brazil, Holland, spain, italy or Portugal in the semi-finals. RE: This is the ENGLAND SQUAD - mitchell - 11-05-2010 20:03 Avoid half the tournament, well i guess that`s one way to win... or maybe just not go at all. How come everyone thinks Walcott should go he`s pretty useless ![]() No one can disagree that Adam Johnson has shown he`s gonna be quality, everyone seemed to want Giggs to be English well now we`ve got someone similar & three times as good as Walcott. As for Crouch he`s pretty pants, ![]() Heskey is a good partner for Rooney he will stay up top when Rooney goes lookin for the ball Crouch would drop back and not able to get to the edge of the box before the defence. As for Bent come on one England manager has to give him the chance, Charlton, Tottenham, Sunderland that`s 3 differant clubs & he`s smashed goals in at every one. Simple fact is boys all England manager`s are all the same we`ll play 4-4-2 Gerrard will be on the left Cole maybe Millner ![]() Manager Mitchell Team James Johnson Carragher/Dawson terry A. Cole Gerrard Parker Lampard Millner Rooney J. Cole If Rio is not fit i can`t see it?? Portugal are one player away from being shit nowadays France & Italy are wank Germany will do as they always do, two teams who should do well are the US and Mexico the USA have improved every year since France 98 and Mexico are goin well since Javier Aguirre has taken over.
