I got some earlier, and I managed to get them clean again.
I guess once I get used to cleaning them all the time it won't take me so long.

Well you're doing better than me Jam, my specs fell apart in spectacular fashion the other day - I've just had to spend £230 for two new pairs. Ouch!

The arm fell off, which caused the rubber stringy bit (they're rimless) to ping off, which caused the lens to fly across the room. The annoying thing is that I meant to order some three weeks ago when I last picked up some contacts.

I'm very blind so I have to have ultrathin lenses. Which cost.

I got 2 pairs from Asda for £90. They're okay but straight lines have a slight curve to them, which makes checking to see if things are level or plumb can be awkward (I'm a joiner,so...)
But really I'm just glad that I can see reasonably well again.
