Not arguing with you IanG, but that's not the place to have a wide ranging dinscussion. The suggestion is narrowly focussed on one point - allowing R18 on TV and I have tried to pre-empt reservations of people who want R18 themselves but say "but what about kids?"

All you need is a BBFC warning really. Anything else is down to the taste of the viewer. With DVD recorders fast becoming the norm, many parents will even buy them for their kids. It has to be up to the manufacturers and the parents to implement any control over how much more than Disney the little scraps are taking in.
