RE: Football Records - Regenerated - 07-10-2010 19:41 Some FA Cup Records:- Thomas Hughes was the first player to score more than once in the FA Cup Final. It came in the 1876 final when The Wanderers defeated Old Etonians 3-0. Everton hold the unwanted record of losing the most FA Cup Finals. The Toffees have appeared in 13 finals, and have only won 5, losing the other 8. Ashley Cole holds the record for the most FA Cup wins by a player. He has 6 to his name, breaking the record previously held by Jimmy Forrest of Blackburn Rovers (5) when Chelsea defeated Portsmouth in the 2010 final. Villa Park holds the record for the most used venue for an FA Cup Semi Final. Aston Villa's ground has hosted an FA Cup semi final on 52 different occasions. RE: Football Records - 2Bud - 07-10-2010 19:51 Non-league side Chichester City made football history by becoming the first club to sack their manager with a phone call during a match. RE: Football Records - Captain Vimes - 07-10-2010 20:10 Dunan McKenzie's records. This comes from a Nottingham Forest web site; so I'll take it with a pinch of salt but it was well known on the Liverpool area (Merseyside) that he could do these things. As with most talents he had his flaws and McKenzie's was probably the 60 fags a day he said he smoked. He was also something of a showman and was famed for having the ability to jump over a Mini with a single leap. I'm going to put this down as a record because he could jump over a Mini on 60 fags a day plus he was a fantastic footballer. C'mon Wazza, you're a smoker, step up to the plate, jump over a VW Golf GTi.
