I think you're right, they do track your IP for voting. However if I recall correctly it's for 24 hours. So even though we can't really spam vote we can at least do it once a day.

They're still reeling out possible contenders at the moment. Voting should start once that's out the way. I'm no expert but the ones who get through to the next round usually have more professional looking photos, so no self done phone shots.
I'm pretty certain Jasmine will make it to the next round.
