i love this picture not for it's quality but for what it is. in 2004 man took it's furthest look into deep space and at galaxy's formed not long after the big bang. the image was captured by the hubble space telescope called Hubble Ultra Deep Field (HUDF), a 1,000,000 second exposure picture. they say it contains 10,000 galaxy's and the light we are seeing in this image has taken 13 billion years to reach us!

International Space Station - MeTarzan - 12-06-2011 05:34
This image was taken from a large reflector in Australia while recording the last eclipse (the Moon has just begun to cross the Sun as you can see bottom-left).
However, when they came to review all the images, they found that 5 had captured the International Space Station as it orbits the Earth.
