I don't think so. The effect is for nearly all the videos for some babes and none of the videos for the rest.

I have just tested that on an video that has not been posted. The download number stayed at zero.

Maybe not so crazy TheWatcher. They could be keen students of my Bs Download Stats posts (don't laugh) and are desperate to get their princess/empress/goddess to the top of the table.

Well, I can't say I've noticed any particular increase in my MegaUpload downloads. They all seem to go through cycles, depending on how popular they are at the time.

Take My Alice Goodwin Nightshow vids. At the time they were just downloaded at the same rate as anyone else's. But since her thread became restricted to members only. Her video download stats have shot off the chart.

Again, it could be a member posting the links elsewhere. And because they are restricted here, it would make them more popular elsewhere.

But I have just noticed that the Jessica Lloyd video I posted today, has already had over 100 downloads. eek I didn't think she was that popular. bladewave

Yesterday's total was 417 which is at the upper end of the normal range down from 1,342 on wednesday. It looks like it may have settled down after eight days of download frenzy.

Just a thought.

Could it be the fact, that MegaUpload has been unavailable for quite a few ISP's recently. And if that problem has now been corrected, then it could be just all those people catching up on stuff they had missed.

Thanks aceman65, I hadn't thought of that. However the increases were so marked and confined to a minority of telephonists so I am slightly sceptical of that explanation. I would be very happy if it was correct though but.

The MegaUpload ISP issue ended around 6 or more weeks ago.
