I'd be surprised. He left Villa because he wasn't being given money to strengthen his squad and the new Rovers owners are apparently not going to put much more the £5 million in at the mo.

must admit was dancing round the house when i heard !!! we were going backwards under him hopefully we can get it back to the style of footy we played under hughes. comes to something when all our best players this year have been the old regulars like dunne MGP and others that were brought in by hughes
wouldnt mind Ray wilkins as manager. Robbie savage said he might consider player manager role on twitter think he was doing it to wind up the daily star though
Oneil or Jol would be good just hope we go forwards not backwards i mean he had to go lost 7-1 to United then lose to Bolton was the final straw i mean the way we played yesterday we couldnt have beaten preston let alone the dingles

Not sure what l thought of the news really on one hand l thought sam should have been given a bit longer but on the other hand the style of football we have been playing has not been pretty and maybe someone like Martin O Neill would change that.

Sometimes that can be a good thing, Our chairman Sir Adam Pearson knows football but he waited far to long to sack Phil Brown and when he finally did it was miles 2 late
