Already a few Liverpool, so I'll go for my 1st team Celtic. Would have to say the greatest player of my generation (so far) is Henrik Larsson, he won everything with Celtic and took us to a UEFA Cup final in Seville, scoring 2 goals and taking the game to extra time against Jose Mourinho's famous FC Porto who went on to win the ECL the next year. He scored goals for fun and defines the word Legend.

Like Mitchell I WAS lol Robbie Fowler as a kid.Only ever had FOWLER23 and FOWLER9 on the back of my kits.

It's very close for me between Fowler and Gerrard. So close that i can't decide so im goin for them both.

I suppose I should say Colin Bell as I did see him play but to be honest I was really young and don't really remember him that well. Of the more modern players there are loads. Shaun Goater-not out and out quality but a good worker and finished well. Gio has already been mentioned and no-one has got me out of my seat like he did when he got the ball. Paul Lake was quality and Paul Dickov for the Wembly goal that still ranks as the best few seconds of my life. lol.
However after all this thinking aloud I will go for...

Mike Doyle-He really hated United and I love that about him.Big Laugh

While it's hard to look past Zola, I'm gonna go for Super Frankie Lampard

One of the most underrated players around IMO

For Crewe Alexandra it has to be David Platt who beats Geoff Thomas into second place.

As a Newcastle fan, its got to be Alan Shearer:

However, an honourable mention has to go to "sir" Les Ferdinand who was only at the club two seasons earned the respect of the Toon army with his performances on the pitch

As another long suffering Man City supporter,I have to say Colin Bell.Hate to compare different generations, but he is one player who would not be out of place in todays game.An honourable mention has to go to Ali Benarbia, who didnt play for city for long, but when he got the ball, the whole ground would stand.
