The decision by Sky to move his homecoming fight against Paul McCloskey away from Sky Box Office was disappointing. However, this fantastic bill can now be watched on Primetime, a channel which has a proven track record of showing some of the very best in world boxing. Thanks for the info admin but I think this post suggests what is the general public's opinion. Of course, admin, I don't include you in the horrible mass that is general opinion. Far too fine and grand. (Grovels and scrapes) (12-04-2011 00:17 )mitchell Wrote: The fight will cost £14.95 and a small one off registration fee will apply for customers new to Primetime .......... A graze! a trickle of blood down the face and that was it. Saw loads of cuts worse than this. Hatton had many many worse ones that these RE: Amir Khan not on Sky Sports confirmed! this is good news - bigguy01 - 16-04-2011 23:05 amir khan's division looks like its becoming like football full of pansies. khan is over hyped and overpaid RE: Amir Khan not on Sky Sports confirmed! this is good news - peterbrads - 16-04-2011 23:50 He said "McCloskey quit and didn`t want to carry on the fight" RUBBISH!!! Can clearly see he shook his head when the doc and ref called it off, and he wanted to carry on the fight!! Khan for me has got way to Cocky since he went with Jordan that time and he is nowhere as good as he believes he is!! RE: Amir Khan not on Sky Sports confirmed! this is good news - sweetsugar007 - 17-04-2011 08:30 Feel sorry for the people who paid money to watch this.these things happen in fights but I think the lack of a strong undercard meant this promotion was doomed regardless. RE: Amir Khan not on Sky Sports confirmed! this is good news - mitchell - 17-04-2011 12:00 I watched the fight though errr other means while watching Real v Barca, I like most thought it was a bad stoppage by the doctor, not even giving McCloskey's corner time to work on the cut was just unprofessional, that said due to the picture I had I didn't see the cut close up & judging by peterbrads pic I can somewhat understand the thought of stopping the fight but as I say not giving his cutman the chance to earn his pay was just wrong, I've seen a few words of the post fight press conference & I think both camps let themselves down especially Amir who doesn't need to be talking all the American Oh I would've knocked you out in another 2 rounds nonsense, he clearly won the fight but I didn't see a KO coming in the next 2 or 3 rounds. RE: Amir Khan not on Sky Sports confirmed! this is good news - bigguy01 - 17-04-2011 16:28 amir khan's oppo just needs one solid punch on amir's jaw and he will go down. |
