So then its Ding v Trump and Higgins v Williams in the semis. Two very intriguing matches. Neither Ding or Trump have played a best of 33 frame match before at the Crucible. Higgins and Williams with 5 world titles between them.

So then John Higgins is World Champion for a fourth time - nice to know I can get one prediction right at least

. Where was Dings 147? Anyway it was an intriguing final and Judd Trump is a breath of fresh air. His brand of snooker will revitalise the interest in the game a bit and perhaps bring about a change in the type of tournament play in the next generation of players. Congratulations to both men.
