Would love to see it too, kalel. I'm going to catch flack for this, but Casino Royale (Daniel Craig) is my fave so far. He got him closest to how I always pictured him in the novels; a cold, emotionally crippled thug with a taste for the high life. The old style Bond films were fun at first but were getting very stale IMHO, and the franchise needed a proper re-boot to bring it line with the modern world (sort ofBig Grin).

Would have to agree with the above post that Daniel Craig does seem to fit the role as I imagined from the novels when reading years ago, however have noticed that the new films seem to be taking a lead from the Bourne films in regards to more hand to hand action etc.. which isnt a bad thing.

I do miss the gadgets in the new films but dont know if they would fit with the different Bond image now being portrayed.

Also have to keep reminding myself that the new films have taken the role right back to the beggining of the character as well.

Favourite Bond would have to be Living Daylights (PMSL) actually didnt mind Dalton that much but favourite would have to be On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

That's what I loved about the film! He mostly failed in what he'd set out to do, got his bollocks mashed (which will justify future womanising nicely in the post-feminist era), was betrayed by the woman he loved, who he had to watch die in front of him while he was unable to save her and to top it all off he won his own personal battle with Le Chifre in only the most pyrrhic fashion. All of this took place without gadgets, which added to the brutality of the story-telling; there wasn't anything shiny or glamorous to distract from the relentless doom and gloom, describing how James Bond becomes the character that everyone knows so well. Seeing him strangle that guy to death in the pre-credit sequence was genuinely uncomfortable to watch. I loved every minute of the film. I haven't seen Q.O.S. yet, but I'm really looking forward to it.

My fave film is goldeneye! that film has eveything. The game weren't bad either!

I'm another fan of the new bonds. I enjoyed them both.
