Sad day for golf. I'm too young to have seen him in his pomp but no one should be ignorant to how much he, and his success, did for the European tour. One of the most popular golfers of all time.

I think this quote of his is one of the best in sports:
“I look into their eyes, shake their hand, pat their back, and wish them luck, but I am thinking, 'I am going to bury you.”

Legend & genius.Often use the great man for inspiration during my many visits into the rough & trees maybe one day I'll pull off a recovery shot like him.Saw him play live,amazing.Dont know if you are aware,check out the Seve Foundation,with Cancer Research UK, many golf club are taking part in the National Golf Challenge July 23-24 wkend after The Open.Chance 2 play on a Seve designed course.

Many people will say Tiger is this generation's Seve, but to me Seve had it all - the complete game.

who can remember his victory celebrations on one of his Open wins?
plus possibly the ability to produce a recoveryu shot out ot of nowhere. Anyone want to name their favourite Seve shot?
