A money transfer vehicle owned partly(maybe wholly now) by eBay. Very easy to use plus they should protect you if your auction goes wrong (ie seller does not send item). I've been using them for a few years, had one dispute with a seller and Paypal refunded me.
I am looking for a gold membership as well. Cheapest genuine one I have found is about £27 on eBay.
