Its happened where i live, they wrecked a whole of shops and of course nicked clothes, mobile phones etc etc and they even ripped out ATM's out the walls. These scum have no shame in what there doing and there making it worse and the poor innocent people losing there business and homes.

Maybe this will actually force someone in government to stop all this softly softly shit that has been creeping in for the last 20 years. These cretins might find that they have set events in motion that are gonna fuck them over big time in the long run. If the police has been allowed to storm in on the first riot, would any of the rest have copied them? I doubt it.

None of this is anything to do with the shooting, it is an excuse for a bunch of thugs to run amok. If anything they are lessening the chance of the truth of those events being discovered, or highlighted.

Every time we have demos or protests in London the police invariably get pilloried and accused of brutality if they so much as push a protestor out of the way, now when serious civil disorder breaks out is it any wonder they are reluctant to 'steam in'.
Watching tv pictures one thing that occurs is that when police charge down a street the morons just hare of down a sidestreet, surely it is possible to cut off these avenues of escape and encircle the rioters?

suggestions for tackling the riots
Army to back up the police and provide more numbers,
Water canon, maybe with indelible dye to identify troublemakers later
Rubber bullets and tear gas.

Arm the police, and give them carte blanche. Lets see how many try it then!
