Can we get all the Rem puns done now?, before Whoopah realises what we are doing

When i heard the news i got really depressed and spent the rest of the day Shunning Happy People, especially if they were holding hands

R.E.M were a great rock band but best of luck to them Cool

They released their first single in 1981 Radio Free Europe and first album in 1983 callled Murmur it wasn't until 1989 that they finally had success with their first hit single Orange Crush and their first hit no. 28 album was Fables Of A Reconstruction no.35 in 1985 but it wasn't until the aclaimed no.1 album Out Of Time in 1991 that R.E.M became a big rock band with such hits as Losing My Religion and Shiny Happy People and then in 1993 they did the emotional song Everybody Hurts by this time they were a huge stadium rock band, unfortunately they never had a no.1 single but had 8 no.1 albums. Cool

My favourite song was The Great Beyond which was their biggest hit no. 3 from 2000 closely followed by Losing My Religion, what is your favourite R.E.M song? Cool

Tough not to choose Tongue as my favourite, but Let Me In just edges it - written about Kurt Cobain after his suicide in 94.
